Synopsis
Volvo Car India just released its 2021 version of the S90. While the deluxe sedan is roughly the same on the outside, it's the new gasoline+hybrid powertrain and the latest technology that makes the S90 better than modern sedans.
Volvo S90 - Exterior
With the upgrade, the refreshed S90 gets a slightly fitted front grille with prominent chrome vertical ribs. Which are further emphasized by the chromium bands at the bottom of the two stops. The bumpers themseleves have been redesigned and now receive body-colored features. LAst but no least, the hidden tailpipes give the luxury sedan a sophisticated and sleek look.

The 2021 S90 is equipped with a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection with crosstraffic alert, pneumatic suspension, 19-speaker Bowers and Winkins public address system, front seats with massage function and nappa leather padding. The Android touchscreen infortainment system features an advanced air purifier, integrated google applications and services, and connected car technology available through the Volvo Cars app.

The S90 offers noting but gasoline. It is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine connected to a 48-volt electric motor that produces 247 Bhp and 350 Nm of advanced torque. The transmission is provided by an 8-speed auto transmission, which transmit power to the front wheels.

Volvo S90 - Safety Rating
The S90 achieved a five-star (5 star) Euro NCAO score in 2017, and while its percentage score was lower than the XC90 at 95 Percentage, it cannot be said to be bad.
The S90 has a number of characteristics that attempt to avoid a crash from occuring in the first place.
