Puducherry Is Going To Reopen Collages, School For Classes 9 To 12 From July 16
New Delhi: The Puducherry Administration has decided to reopen institutions and schools for students in grades 9 through 12 on July 16, according to Chief Minister N Rangaswamy. Due to the Covid issue, physical education sessions at schools and universities were cancelled.
Following an increase in the number of students, government-run and privately operated colleges in Puducherry were previously ordered to conduct all classes online. In the Union Territory, there have been a number of coronavirus cases. Six days a week, lessons would be held (Monday to Saturday).
The Governor approved a proposal on March 11 to classify students in the Union Territory's Classes 1 to 9 as 'all pass' for the current academic year.
According to the Tamil Nadu Board's recommendations, all Class 10 and 11 students in Puducherry and Karaikal would be considered "all pass."
According to a Raj Nivas statement, children in Classes 10 and 11 in the Mahe and Yanam regions would be promoted according to the guidelines of the Kerala and Andhra Pradesh Boards of Education, respectively.
As the number of Covid cases across the country decreases, several states, including Bihar and Haryana, have stated that lessons will resume in an offline mode. While these states have announced the reopening of schools and universities, they have also stated that attendance will not be required and that Covid protocols will be followed.
In the view of offline classes:
Some students are fearful of covid infection. Some are wanting to have offline classes while others are comfortable with online classes.
Some people are comfortable with online classes as they have the comfort of being at home. Some people find it difficult to have online classes as they experience network issues. The speech of teachers in class also often gets disrupted due to network problems. People who want to understand the concepts of studies are wishing for offline classes.
Offline classes also have their perks and disadvantages. Disadvantages are known by the students themselves with their experience before covid. Amid covid, the greatest disadvantage is the spread of the viral infection. It truly is a great risk to be attending classes during this period.
The risk of spreading the virus during this period can be greatly reduced by following the correct appropriate measures. Holding hands, sharing lunch, and sitting close to one another mask-less should be avoided. Students should not be blind to the severity of the current situation and follow proper rules and regulations.
On the whole, both online, as well as offline classes, have their own advantages and disadvantages. With the reopening and closing of schools with the increase and decrease of covid cases, students can do nothing but adapt to the changes.
