Top Aviation YouTubers who Teach about Aviation
Some aviation YouTubers may not be mentioned in the following list. This is just a personal selection of a handful of people who are pilots and convey information about aviation. It should be noted that these people are not selected with the number of subscribers they have. People who teach about any field are respected here. It is to be kept in mind that there are many YouTubers who make videos about aviation and all are respected.
No. 5 Captain Joe:
Joining YoutTube in 2014, Joe Diebolder AKA Captain Joe teaches people about aviation in a fun and engaging manner. His Youtube channel has 1.48 million subscribers currently (July 2021). He used to fly the Airbus a320 family of aircraft for Air Berlin. Once the airline shut down in October 2017, he moved into Cargolux where he currently flies the Boeing 747-8 freighter. It is obvious from his number of subscribers that he has a huge fanbase having a lot of people who love aviation. Her real name is Michelle. Her videos are of the topics about the life of an airline pilot, aviation, airplanes, etc. She also has videos explaining how pilots work in the cockpit and manage everything. She has 230-Thousand subscribers to date. One thing to say about her videos is that they have excellent editings which encourage viewers to watch more of her videos. She flies the Boeing 737 and is known very well to have collaborations with Captain Joe.

Sam Chui is one of the well-known persons who is a travel blogger and a frequent flier. His videos include airline reviews and blogs of himself traveling in first-class and plane spotting which people are keen to watch. His channel stands out having 2.61 million subscribers currently. Apart from these, he also makes technical videos related to aviation and is a student pilot himself. He is a big influencer in the world of aviation bringing people closer to travel and flying experience even during this period. He says that his love for aviation began with the Boeing 747 and currently lives in Dubai, a place that is easy to connect to the world. He also says that the sky is his second home and that he enjoys being in the air.

Mentour Pilot's channel is where even pilots can learn something from. His channel is filled with whole lots of technical information that aviation lovers are very interested in watching. He is a Captain on the Boeing 737. He makes videos regarding air accidents, incidents, and other interesting information like Captain Joe. His videos are very documentative which even common people who are not related to aviation enjoy watching. He explains that through his videos about aviation incidents and accidents, he is teaching people about mistakes that people in aviation make which are useful for the next generation of pilots or people working in aviation. He has 761-Thousand subscribers to date. He often answers questions that people ask and is popular having his own app where people can discuss their doubts. He stands out on the technical side of things related to aviation. Anyone can gain knowledge, and values from the information he shares in his videos.
No. 1 Pilot_Obet:
Pilot_Obet is one of the lesser-known YouTubers in aviation. His videos are equivalent to gold for people who love aviation. His real name is Obet Mazinyi and is from Zimbabwe, Africa. He is a captain on the Boeing 747-8 and the -400 freighters on Cathay Pacific Airlines. The airline is based in Hong Kong and besides being a Captain on the plane, he is also a Base-Captain in Hong Kong, which means he trains other pilots for the same type rating. Obet is a perfect example to others that no matter where you are from, you can become whatever you want. He concentrates on the technical side of the Boeing 747, everyone's favorite airplane. He has 8 thousand subscribers currently. He also makes videos interviewing fellow crew members and has fun doing so.
