The new generation off-road will gain more functionality to better compete with the Mahindra Thar.
With its launch around the corners, the SUV keeps being spotted from pre-launch testing. Previous and recent spying shots have confirmed that there will not be any significant changes in Gurkha's design although some subtle style revisions. The new Gurkha would be available in two derivatives: 3 doors and 5 doors. Originally, the first will be launched and, according to sources, will only be offered in four forward-facing seats. The presentation of the dealers is scheduled from September 6 to 7, 2021.

- New Gurkha was spied upon in a vivid orange exterior, a shadow not offered with the Thar.
- It was first presented at Auto Expo 2020 in a metallic orange paint.
- It preserves its style inspired by the Mercedes G-Class even with the revised exterior.
- Force is likely to provide a renovated interior with the new Gurkha to make it less than a compromise on a regular town car.
- It will get a BS6 compliant version of the same 2.6 liter diesel that previously with 4x4 as standard.

2021 Force Gurkha Engine BS6, specs.
The 2021 Gurkha Force has been substantially revised to BS6 standards. Only the 2.6-liter turbo-diesel continues however. This unit was derived from the Mercedes-Benz OM616 unit and made 90PS and 260 Nm while matching with a 5-speed manual. Unfortunately, the powerful 2.2L 140PS/321 Nm engine derived from Mercedes' OM611 unit has not been updated to meet the new standards.
